Today could be the perfect day.
The weather is beautiful here in New York. The trees are in full bloom and the robins chirrup to one another in the calm dusk.
I awoke this morning to a warm sun and cries of “It’s 66 degrees outside now!” from my sisters. Sunlight streamed through the car windows on the way to church. The world inside the building was beautiful as well, for nothing is so warm as human fellowship, especially that directed to worshipping God. And as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation to us, we rejoiced as 26 people were baptized into God’s household.
Easter reminds us that every day is a beautiful day – because He lives.
