Dangling Modifiers

Dangling modifiers are a pain but humorous when you find them. Can you spot this one?

“More than 10,000 conservative activists are in Washington for the annual gathering. Walking through the hallways of the Marriott Wardman, television screens showed clips of President Reagan. Chatter at the lunch tables was about “Obamacare” and gun rights and the economy, but nary a word about events in Egypt.”

  1. I am not sure if I would like to see a television screen walking at all. The thought of such a thing frightens me.
Btw, I will be e-mailing you a screenshot of a horrendous typo I caught while browsing through blogs. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
