A Light to Life

“Philosophy cannot and should not give faith, but it should understand itself and know what it has to offer and take nothing away, and least of all it should fool people out of something as if it were nothing.” -Soren Kierkegaard, in Fear and Trembling

All too often we are led astray by philosophy, believing in it as a religion. Why should philosophy always seem to be drawing us away from the Bible? Instead, as Kierkegaard reminds us, philosophy ought to teach us how to live, and, more importantly, prompt us to think about the big questions of life.

Why are we here?

Where did we come from?

Where are we going?
